I am subscribed to both Louis and Robert's Google Reader feeds and some good content comes through! Also this introduces me to Blogs that I otherwise wouldn't be familiar with!

I know guys who were also frustrated with tons of dull feeds, so they just launched http://www.polymeme.com/ tonight. Thousands of feeds are filtered and presented in a very usable way. Oh, I`m saying it because you may get really GOOD feeds there :)

Hi Dave,

Another innovative stream from you which I am looking forward too. I love new products and so often miss new features or complete new tools because it's so hard to pickup out of the volume of stuff being given prominence. :)

A while ago I was looking for something similar, something to aggregate multiple verticals but using my own opml.

My opml contains sites I have vetted for authority (what is authoritative in my mind) and as I see new sites I add them to the opml and they get into the mix. I found that people often have a much broader set of feeds than the top 20 sort of thing.

It's pretty raw right now and I am still monkeying with the statistical massaging but it's amazing how much interesting stuff is there in your own feeds that you can bubble up if you suppress or at the very least aggregate the noisier stories... If it actually works out I will create shared feeds.

Just a different take on a way to find good stuff that is there but so often buried by the meme of the moment.

it all emanates from you; it sucks, cause, well, no one markets to you anymore, or too me, really. you have no bait to chew upon.

i'm making a new product, but, it's something new, and, well, i's aints the two point oooh type.

i don't even have a blog. i should though; i'm way more entertaining than most of what i read.

but i don't think like you guys, web 2.0, feed this, twitter that.

i think pussy is the kliller app. and only believe in businesses with business models.

like i said before, it emanates from you. you should build something cool.

Dave, I'm curious about NewsJunk but knowing how pro-Obama you are, does the feed reflect your own stance on the candidates? Not sure if you addressed this yet, but it is the one thing that keeps me uninterested.

Right -- there won't be any politics in it, no acquisitions, no fights, just products, features, maybe a hero or two (but always product related). And no original editorial, just links off-site. Also no advertising or sponsors.

It's strange, but my friend Bryan and I have been following you pro bloggers from afar for awhile now (we live on the easy coast), and more and more lately we have been getting feeling that most of Tech Blogging is being ruined by the same sort of hype and fear attitude the pervades mainstream media. The little guys follow the big guys and everyone just kinda falls in line. It's more than boring, it's disheartening.

In fact, the strangest part is that this morning, I was sitting on your site writing to you: I don't know what is going on out there, but something has got to change. I just didn't have it in me at the time to click "post."

Dave, thank you. Really. I've been putting off subscribing to NewsJunk because I'm frankly not that interested in politics, and of course would have to subscribe to another 500 or so feeds to balance out the flow. TechJunk is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm tired of the same blogs with the same gossip and same topics, but even with my current subscription load, the "others" don't bubble up often enough often due to smaller blogs not posting as frequently and so forth. I'm extremely excited about this. *Edit* Though this does reinvigorate my interest in a Share.opml clone...

Dave, fwiw - here's a feed that combines the "best of" (via AideRSS.com and then Pipes) from Webware, Emily Chang's eHub, Orli's Go2Web2 and Chris Messina's Flickr stream of new apps. http://feeds.feedburner.com...
